Rinoa turned. Tears falling gently as she whined in her throat. The Vixen shifted her stance to glare as the heavenly voice spoke again. "Ahh I remember this one. Many of his Kin failed the tests... and yet He managed to find YOU." Rinoa took tentitive steps backward as her ears folded. "You will not kill him, but together you will bring back the celestial twelve..."
Rinoa gave a bark of anger. She was a VIRGIN! Not a mating machine! She looked at the entity with puzzlement. She was confused, in pain and tired, her world began to grey as she sat down. Her blood loss was substansial...

Sam breached the trees and opened into a clearing; he could see a lake...and he could see Rinoa. He stopped running and calmly approached her, Rinoa... he said softly, still walking towards her.

Rinoa panted, running in zagging patterns as the dagger lodged deeper and deeper into her shoulder. Her tears melded with the blood and finlay she stopped, the lake called to her, to the fox. She looked around, 'I don't understand. Why a Fox? Why White?' A voice as melodious as the music from her past spoke, "The Celestials needed a Fox. Others were tested... but none for chosen..."

Sam stood stunned for only a mere second before Brad burst into the scene somewhere behind him. That jumpstarted him and forced him back into action. He didn't acknowledge his brother before tearing off after the trail of blood that she left behind, which Brad noticed.
Good job, Sammie! You got a hit! Let's finish this.
No I didn't, she did it to herself...I don't know why. We have to help her! Sam continued fervently following the bloody trail, praying it would not be too late.
OH NO, Sam! Brad skidded to a halt and grabbed sam firmly by the forearm, also causing him to stop his chase. Sam whipped around and shot him a hysterical look, having no time to waste. Sam, you have to stop. Leave her. There are alot of problems in the world, we shouldn't have to solve them all. Please go with me on this... He silently pleaded with his very opposite double, using Sam's technique on him. Maybe it would work. He was wrong.
Sam just slowly shook his head and averted his gaze, Brad....we both know that I can't do that. I have to help her. I won't let her die by my weapon. He pulled his arm free and took off once again. This time Brad didn't follow.

Rinoa looked up, her tail lashing out in aggrivation. She had no clue what the hell was going on! Hell a month ago she was minding her own business before waking in the woods torn apart! It was that damnable MOON! She yowled and climbed into a tree, placing a paw on her muzzle as a single, human tear fell. She sighed, 'Why why, WHY!? Did Kami force me into this form for a reason?' She didn't hurt him one bit. Instead, quick as lightning, she jumped down and grabbed his blade in her jaws and tossed it into the air. She had seen the brother's reaction and now her Feral Half was in control. 'Think YOU hurt!? Beat this!' She tossed the blade up and let gravity plunge it into her own shoulder, her blood marring the crimson markings dancing in her white fur. She couldn't suppres the yowl of pure pain as she turned. 'Now YOU can follow as well... Hunter.' with that, she ran, the forest hiding her glow but not her blood.
-Wait a minute.. what in Kami's name is going on here?!- Rinoa tried to shake the thoughts from her skull, but the felt... natural. Save for the pain, she felt, like she, for once, belong somewhere. Here in the forest. Pity she ever drew a liking to the silver knight... well now she could just run until she bled out or passed out.

Sam jumped off her immediately and backed up. He wore a look of hurt and confusion on his face, but said nothing. He would talk to the human; not the feline.
Brad kept up for as long as he could, but as he didn't have four legs he lost her after a bit. He then turned to tracking, hoping nothing bad would happen in the meantime. He could kick himself for letting Sam's puppy-dog gaze soften him up. Now Sam could be attacked and hurt, or worse, killed, because he didn't follow his gut.

Rinoa ran on for a good twenty minutes. She came to a stop aside a lake and panted, looking back and swivling her ears. Hearing nothing she settled with a groan. The moon, shining brightly above reminded the fox just WHY she had brought him here.
The simmering light reflected in the water as well as her eyes. The fox turned, her tail raised slightly as she crooned out a note of compassion. She was litereally flirting with her death, should the brother catch up...

Sam was taken by complete surprise and he let out a sharp gasp as he was carried off into the woods.
Okay, that is.IT! roared Brad as he full on sprinted after his brother and that wretched bitch. Sam may have been trusting, but this was crossing the line.

Rinoa paused for a moment, looking to Sam and then to Brad. She turnedand in a motion faster than the eye could follow, Rinoa grabbed Sam and ran off into the forest. Her grip shifting him to her back while she ran. Her place was the wilderness, and she would mark this male. All she had to do, was get away from the idiot brother...

Brad chuckled, Hey, chill out. I'm not gonna take him from you. 'Less of course you try to hurt him. Or me. Which would be...bad. He shifted in such a way thet the blade of his knife flashed in a threatening manner. It could be considered a coincidence, but there were never coincidences with Brad around.
Sam layed a hand on Rinoa's back, He's okay. Don't.. His tone silently pleaded with her so that Brad couldn't distinguish his words. He shot him a curious glance that was left unanswered.

Sam didn't move, as he trusted her, though (if he had to admit) he was starting to build tension. That was all released when she did absolutely nothing to harm him. He slowly raised his hand to pet the soft fur behind her ears. He couldnt help but smile a little.
Brad, on the other hand, slumped and rolled his eyes. Well, lookit that. Looks like lil' Sammie has a furry admirerer. Typical. You never could score a normal chick..
Sam also rolled his eyes, Oh, shut up. And it's SAM.

Sam, however, locked eyes with Rinoa, putting his hands up to show he had no hidden agenda, Shh... he cooed to Brad, trying to keep him calm.
As she kept advancing Brad grew more impatient, Sam! He said again, louder this time, in order to try to sway his too-calm-and-quick-to-judge-positively brother. Still, Sam didn't quake.

Rinoa lowered her ears, the fox within screaming of danger. She paced around, her long, bushy tail stirring eddies in the unforseeing winds. Her golden eyes locked onto the one that put his knife away. Something about him screamed strength. To a fox, strength was key, the male defended the litter while the female hunted. Whay was this boy so firmiliar though? A confused Rinoa cocked her head much like a puppy. She barked once, trying to get the other to back off. Still bristling, she advanced on the unarmed Sam...

Brad was still tense and ready to fight when Sam uttered one last plea whilst shooting him the infamous "puppy-eyes" look, Brad, please..
Finally, Brad loosened up and put his knife away, a war raging within his mind, Listen to my brother or go with my gut? My gut has never failed me, but neither has he.. In the end he gave it to Sam. Okay. I'll let her slide, for now, but if anything happens, I will annihilate her. End of story.
Sam simply smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder, his eyes saying Thank you. He turned to look at the now feline Rinoa and said, It's alright. He also put his knife away.

The Vixen snarled as her eyes turned from stunning silver to a breathtaking metallic gold. Crimson markings settled into place as a black area on the tip of her tail became present. As if she dipped it in ink. She lowered herself and growled at the ones bearing knives. A scent picked up in the wind, Blood, roses and Sakura, the kitsune was in heat. And right now, she was ready to fight.

Sam sprang up when he heard the yowls, immediately battle-ready. He saw Brad ready to attack and he followed his line of sight to the white feline. What's wrong!? Where's Rinoa!? He also pulled his knife out.
Brad growled out his response as he advanced on her, She is The girl! And she lied to us. She's what we hunt, Sam. And we're going to kill her. He sprang foreward and raised his knife only to be knocked away by his brother. He grunted at the force of impact.
Brad, we're NOT killing her, she didn't do anything to us! She could have killed us in our sleep, but she didn't! And of course she lied, if she didn't you would have killed her on the spot! His features suddenly grew soft and he rested a hand on Brad's shoulder, commanding full attention. Brad also started to calm. Brad, don't. You owe me that much, man.

Rinoa hissed, her eyes full of betrayal. Pain seared her being as her feet followed the way of her hands. Attempting to run was impossible with the way her legs were shaping. She tried to, only getting a few steps before falling onto her stomach. Her back gave out an audible CRACK as it locked her into the four legged posture. She cried out in pain as her teeth sharpened into fangs. Her armor split down the back and began revealign glistening pure white fur. A tail began snaking its way out of the broken armour and the cried became whimpers as her face slowly pushed out into a vulpine muzzle.

Brad woke up first, stretching out his well-toned arms. His senses were already tingling, and he heart faint sounds coming from Rinoa's side of the cave, but when he turned around he didn't find the woman Rinoa. Not really. And that was enough to convince him. He bolted upright and pulled out his knife, You're not human. Therefore you're prey. His eyes blazed with determination and anger, but not once did fear flicker across his face.
